I haven't posted on here in a very long time, but there's a lot going on in my life right now that I need to vent about.

So here goes... )

What I look like when I'm reading ur blogz
[info]ninja2themaxx
* Take a picture of yourself right now.
* Don't change your clothes, don't fix your hair...just take a picture.
* Post that picture with NO editing.
* Post these instructions with your picture

I basically only ever post stuff on here when there are cool, meaningless things like this to do.

Well, life lately: school, work, soccer, homecoming skit, and general happiness.  I'm busy, but I'm enjoying it.  I like not wasting my time.

I like it- don't love it. I mostly don't really care.

I leave for New York tomorrow, and then I leave for Cancun on Tuesday, so I won't be in Livermore until August 7th. I'm excited for my trip, but I'm not so pumped for the four plane rides. Ugh. Anyway, I'll see everyone in a couple weeks!

I just discovered that my station wagon has seats that face backwards.  My life is complete.

WAGON
[info]ninja2themaxx
Oh my goodness - I'm for sure going to buy the 1989 Ford Taurus Station Wagon.  It's going to be hideous as hell, but it's only $700!  It has 150,000 miles on it (yuck), but my insurance will be a lot cheaper because the type of people who drive Ford Taurus Wagon's aren't usually reckless drivers.  I will definitely have to embrace the embarrassment that this car will surely induce, though I'm sure I will grow to love the car in the "I hate it so much" kind of way.  Besides, it's my first car (basically), and I am actually buying it myself.  YES!

Now I get to start paying for gas.  Oh boy.

1. I've been trying  to call Tommie for the past couple of days and sort out the conflict with my other job.  I need to call back the school district and tell them whether they need to hire someone else or not.  BUT TOMMIE IS NEVER IN.  AH!  We have a meeting tommorow, so I can talk to him then, but I just really needed to get back to the school district as soon as possible.  I don't want them to only have a few days to try to hire someone new if this doesn't work out.

2. Tara's dad found me a possible car for only $700.  It's a 1989 Ford Taurus WAGON.  That's right - a station wagon.  I just might buy it.  I don't care if I look like a fool, as long as it gets me from point A to point B safely.  Anyway, my insurance on that car would be cheap, which helps the expensive post-car-accident insurance issue.

3. I just watched Federico Fellini's "81/2," and now I feel like I am in a dream.  It probably has the most beautiful cinematography I have ever seen in a movie.  It's just so surreal.  I'm probably going to have to watch it again to fully understand it, which I usually have to do with foreign films anyway.  You lose a lot of the visual impact when you are trying to read subtitles the entire time.

There isn't enough time in the day...
[info]ninja2themaxx
My job at the school district is already conflicting with my job at Tommie's.  I told Tommie I couldn't work before noon on Mondays through Thursdays starting on the 23rd, but on the 24th I'm scheduled to train from 11:00-3:00.  I guess I'm going to have to leave the middle school early to get to training, because there aren't any other training times.  We are also going to be having a lot of meetings and field trips in the future that may also conflict with my tutoring job.  Ah!  I guess I'll just call Tommie to try to find out specific dates for that stuff so I can sort this all out.

On another note:
CONGRATS TO EVERYONE WHO GRADUATED!  Good luck with all your post-high school experiences!  I'm going to miss you all a lot.

It never ceases to amaze me how stupid and unlucky I am.

Boy my life is hilarious.

Since April 2007 I have only posted ten times on here.

Is that a good or a bad thing?

I might write in here a little more often, but I'm pretty sure I said that in every one of my ten posts in the last year, so I think that would be irrelevant.

Summer Reading
[info]ninja2themaxx

Summer is just weeks away and with all the extra time I will have (especially on plane trips to New York, Cancun, New York again, and then back home), I need some good books to read.  Since I will already be reading Crime and Punishment for AP Literature and Beowulf and Grendel for Hart's summer reading group, I need some good, fast, summer reads.  And by good and fast I don't mean Gossip Girl-esque.  I mean less like War and Peace and more like Huckleberry Finn.  So any suggestions?

Basically, within a two week span this summer, I will be flying across the country about four times!  Awesome!
With airplane rides tedious enough as it is, doing my AP Literature homework isn't really an option.
Obviously, I really need books to read.

I was ravaged by spiders last night.  Did anyone else wake up covered in bug bites?

For my next project in video production I have to make a music video.  What song should I do?
I'm thinkin' danceable songs, because the best kind of music videos are dance music videos.

Spring Break
[info]ninja2themaxx

Last Friday I visited Cal Poly with Tara, and even though I really loved the school itself, I don't think it's the best place for me.  I need to go to a more liberal arts focused school, as I will definitely not be an engineering major.  But I had a really nice time driving up there with my parents, and the tour was more enjoyable than expected.  On Saturday I just sat around the computer researching the best schools for journalism.  I ended up finding out that I shouldn't major in journalism, but another more broad interest so that I am a well read and informed writer.  Employers want to see me becoming an expert in a particular field while I gain experience at an actual newspaper or something.  I always thought you were just supposed to minor in what you want to write about, but apparantly I was wrong.  I guess I might be majoring in film or political science now.  Oh boy.  I've also decided that none of the CSUs that supposedly have good journalism programs interest me.  They are all commuter schools. Bleh.  And 200 people classes at UCs are not an option for me.  So that leaves private schools, but I am poor.  I shouldn't be in more debt than I will ever make as a journalist.  SO I AM CONFUSED.

On another note, I NEED SOMETHING TO DO.  Let's get out of our houses and enjoy the weather, eh?

It's been 4 months since I last posted...

Whenever I realize I don't post on here I decide to do a little update instead.
So here's an update!

+ I got my drivers license!
+ I should be getting a job at Country Waffle soon, they just need to CALL ME.
+ I like all my new classes, with the exception of Chemistry.  But it's really not all that bad.
+ I passed AP Statisitics with a B- last semester!  YEAH!.
- My dad got laid off again.
- I feel like I'm getting too lazy, and possibly gaining some weight.  Sadly, it's not going to my boobs or my ass.

For the most part, life's going pretty okay.  My days are never fantastic, but I haven't been very stressed lately.  I'm really starting to get over my paranoia.  It's thrilling.

I haven't posted on here in a helluv a long time.

Update;

1.  I'm a Junior now!

2.  I'm 16 now!

3. I still don't have a life.

Really, that just about sums it up.  It's not that I'm an uninteresting person...I just do uninteresting things.

My only goals in life right now are to pass AP Statisics, read every Jane Austen book [I know- that is quite possibly the most girly thing I could ever do], get my license, and try to relax every once in a while.
